What is CAS?
Community Access Squad (CAS) first started in 2015 and our team of exceptional leaders have worked hard to bring together like minded peers (aged 13+) with varying abilities to be able to experience all that our society has to offer. We aim to engage every individual in a focused and meaningful way through community based inclusive outings.
CAS embraces diversity and inclusion and we thrive on supporting friendships, developing life skills, and improving personal well-being . Through our pre-planned flexible programs we strive to create events that assist our members (Squaddies) get out and about. We help those who require a little extra help to develop the necessary skills and abilities to access our community to the fullest. We implement choice, control and flexibility by supporting you so you can take charge of your life and engage with your community and make new lifelong friends along the way. See our program description links below & be sure to check our socials to see the awesome group events we run every week Tuesday to Friday + more.

Our Leaders.
Our unique services are supported by our Squad Leaders who are highly qualified and trusted educators - they are far more than just support workers. Our Squad Leaders use their experience in education, youth work, nursing, pschology, sport science, OT, mental health and guided learning to endeavor to make sure all Squad members are achieving their potential. We keep a tight knit community of super mentors allowing us to maintain our immaculate reputation and highly trusted service. We only hire career minded support workers looking to make a life with CAS and our participants as we aim to avoid casual carers who come and go. This commitment from our staff is at the heart of our service allowing consistency, reliability, quality and professionalism.
Our Leaders have extensive knowledge and experience working with young adults with varying abilities. They engage our participants through a range of communication methods, such as, but not limited to; assisted communication devices, Auslan, and key word sign.
