On Fridays our members can join our recycle work program via Containers for Change. Do you want to make money whilst helping the environment? Then this is the day for you. Build self esteem and a high sense of purpose / self worth through Squad Services. Our recycle program uses the power of the community to engage with supporters of CAS to collect thousands of recyclable containers every single week. This allows us to pay our participants for their hard work and efforts. All this whilst participating with mates and having fun, learning work skills from our mentors (Squad leaders) and the priceless life long skills that come with any job. We are currently on target to recycle over 200,000 containers by the end of 2023. Participants receive all the money from these containers back evenly split onto a pre-paid Mastercard to spend how they please. We aim to work on all employment related skills, self esteem/ self worth all whilst increasing social, community and civic participation.
